"Soft power" is a foreign policy term used to describe cultural and other "soft" attempts at persuasion, rather than – for example – military coercion. It's also the term that came to mind when I spotted this, adorned with typical Ukrainian braids, at the exhibition of destroyed Russian military vehicles at Kyiv's Mykhailivs'ka Square.
